Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking an experienced Failure Analysis Engineer to join our Product Development team in Nashua, NH. The role focuses on root-cause analysis of failed connectors, developing analysis processes, and interfacing with customers to communicate findings and solutions.

Ideal candidates will have a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years of failure analysis experience, familiarity with Pro/E or SolidWorks, and proficiency in data analysis tools like MS

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in failure analysis and/or electrical connectors.
• Pro/E or SolidWorks experience a plus.
• MS Excel and Minitab data analysis experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis of failed connectors.
• Create a failure analysis process and database to capture historical data.
• Interface with customers to explain issues, status, root cause, and solution.
• Confirm diagnoses through testing and inspection; prepare samples and requests.
