Qualifications

• 8–12 years of semiconductor industry experience in FAE, applications engineering, or power electronics design.
• Strong knowledge of power semiconductors, SiC/GaN technologies, and high-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during product evaluation, design-in, system integration, validation, and production.
• Support power semiconductor solutions including SiC MOSFETs, IGBTs, Power MOSFETs, Power Modules, and Gate Drivers.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer workshops.
• Assist customers with power stage design, thermal management, efficiency optimization, EMI/EMC compliance, and system debugging.
• Act as the bridge between customers and internal engineering teams to ensure rapid issue resolution.
• Develop application notes, reference designs, technical documentation, and customer training materials.
• Support engagements across EV Powertrain, On-Board Chargers, DC-DC Converters, Motor Drives, Solar Inverters, Energy Storage Systems, and Data Center Power.
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to influence product roadmaps.

Role Overview

L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTSCT) seeks an experienced Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support customers deploying high-power semiconductor solutions across Electric Vehicles (EVs), Industrial Automation, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, Data Centers, and Power Conversion applications. The FAE will serve as the key technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering teams, driving product evaluations, design wins, and successful product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during product evaluation, design-in, system integration, validation, and production.
• Support power semiconductor solutions including SiC MOSFETs, IGBTs, Power MOSFETs, Power Modules, and Gate Drivers.

• 8-12 years of semiconductor industry experience in FAE, Applications Engineering, Power Electronics Design, or System Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Power Semiconductors, SiC/GaN Technologies, Power Conversion, Motor Drives, Thermal Management, and High-Voltage Systems.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment including Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Electronic Loads, Thermal Imaging Equipment, and EMC Test Equipment.
• Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Travel

Up to 30-40% domestic and international travel.

Success Metrics

Design wins, customer satisfaction, technical issue resolution, product adoption, and revenue influenced through customer engagements.
