Job summary

The University of Wyoming Libraries seeks a creative, collaborative librarian for Faculty Support in the Research & Outreach Services unit. You will guide faculty and graduate students in evidence synthesis, develop programming and training, and help implement policies and procedures for liaison librarians.

You will also provide research consultation, information literacy instruction, and collaborate across library units on projects, assessment, and instruction.

Qualifications

• ALA-accredited MLIS, MIS, or ALA recognized equivalent by start date.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing instruction and/or workshops to faculty, students, and staff.
• Willingness to learn systematic reviews, meta-analysis, scoping reviews, etc.
• Knowledge of outreach, relationship-building, and collaboration with faculty and graduate students.
• Knowledge of generative AI tools and/or principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach to faculty and instructors across UW Campus and Online.
• Collaborate with faculty to support evidence synthesis projects and design training materials.
• Develop and refine policies, templates, protocols, and provide training for librarians.
• Stay current on evidence synthesis methods and AI integration in research.
• Collaborate across library units to support research projects and services.
• Serve as liaison librarian for assigned departments and provide information literacy instruction.
