Job summary
The University of Alabama Libraries is seeking a Systematic Review Librarian to oversee and develop the library’s evidence synthesis services and to liaison with one or more academic departments. Qualifications
- MLS/MLIS or doctoral degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience in academic library settings and evidence synthesis.
- Advanced searching and familiarity with PRISMA/JBI.
- Knowledge of systematic review software and AI tools like Rayyan and Covidence.
- Experience with citation managers (EndNote, RefWorks, Zotero).
Responsibilities
- Assist researchers from protocol to publication in systematic reviews.
- Deliver instructional content via classroom, workshops, and online materials.
- Provide consultations and guidance on resources, software, AI tools, and data sources.
- Build partnerships, develop services and curricula, train UA faculty librarians.
- Serve as subject liaison and coordinate evidence synthesis support across libraries.
