Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology seeks a Research & Evidence Synthesis Librarian to lead the new evidence synthesis service. You will guide protocol development, design comprehensive search strategies, and support faculty, graduate students, and staff at RIT and global campuses.

You will collaborate with library colleagues to deliver instruction, data literacy, and responsible AI practices in research, with travel to global campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• MS/MLS or related Master's degree
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with evidence synthesis guidelines (PRISMA, Cochrane)
• Ability to teach and train across campus

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end project management and methodological guidance for systematic reviews.
• Design and execute reproducible, multi-database search strategies.
• Mentor and train librarians in evidence synthesis methods.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects and grant proposals.
