Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, nonprofit management or related field preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills required; some grant writing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft computer software applications, working knowledge of content management and publishing, software, and database technologies.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Organizational skills: Ability to establish priorities and react promptly to a large variety of requests and needs, sometimes in stressful situations.
• High level of attention to detail; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary staff resource for the Office of Faculty Development with responsibilities including facilitating access to campus resources and coordinating faculty connections.
• Oversee production and distribution of the Department of Pediatrics’ quarterly newsletter to faculty; plan content and coordinate distribution.
• Complete Faculty Affairs activities including promotions, tracking diversity, supporting career development awards, and onboarding procedures.
• Assume other administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Chairman’s office.
