Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a Program Coordinator to support the SMCRI Office of Clinical & Community Trials and the Office of Faculty Development.

You will coordinate onboarding, contracts, and volunteer programs, and manage communications for faculty initiatives. The role requires collaboration with program leadership, managing metrics, and ensuring efficient office operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, nonprofit management or related field preferred but not required.
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills required; some grant writing experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft computer software applications, working knowledge of content management and publishing, software, and database technologies.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to establish priorities and react promptly to a large variety of requests and needs, sometimes in stressful situations.
  • High level of attention to detail; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary staff resource for the Office of Faculty Development with responsibilities including identifying and coordinating access to campus resources and mentoring programs.
  • Maintains and advances department communications and website content management.
  • Coordinates formal faculty mentorship and leadership development programs.
  • Collaborates with program leadership to develop activities and events for faculty engagement.
  • Tracks expenditures and project costs to stay within budgets and reports on program effectiveness.
  • Prepares routine correspondence, guidelines, meeting minutes for OFD programs.
