Job summary

Collin College seeks a seasoned professional to coordinate faculty development programs, oversee the Master Teacher Program, and advance evidence-based teaching practices to support teaching excellence and professional growth.

You will facilitate faculty learning opportunities, plan and coordinate workshops and Faculty Development Days, and monitor progress and outcomes to continuously improve instructional quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in higher education teaching.
  • Experience facilitating workshops or training sessions.
  • Experience designing or facilitating faculty development or professional learning programs in higher education.
  • This position is Security Sensitive and requires a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement faculty development programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee the Master Teacher Program, including recruitment, onboarding, seminars, and evaluation of outcomes.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of Faculty Development Days and related events.
  • Manage faculty mentoring and engagement initiatives.
  • Co-chair the Faculty Development Advisory Committee and support planning efforts.
