Job summary
Hitachi Energy USA INC. is seeking a FACTS HMI/SCADA Network Engineer to join our Power Quality Solutions team in Raleigh, NC.
You will design, develop, test, and deploy HMI/SCADA solutions and secure industrial networks for utility-scale projects. The role requires a bachelor's in electrical engineering or related field, 5+ years in HMI/SCADA and industrial networking, and familiarity with MicroSCADA, Zenon, and InTouch, plus cybersecurity concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years in HMI/SCADA, industrial automation, networking, or related engineering.
- Experience with MicroSCADA, Zenon, InTouch or equivalent platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and verify HMI and SCADA applications for FACTS projects.
- Develop secure industrial network architectures for SCADA/HMI systems.
- Assess customer network requirements and translate specs into solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders for project execution.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning and startup activities.
- Enhance cybersecurity measures for control networks and communications.
- Manage schedules, documentation, reviews, risk and change management.
