Job summary
Hitachi Energy seeks a FACTS Controls Engineer for its PQS team in Cary, NC, with a hybrid work model. You will design and deploy advanced control algorithms, program the MACH control system, and coordinate with global teams to advance grid reliability and power electronics applications.
You will perform HIL tests, develop models, and contribute to factory acceptance and site start-up activities, collaborating across North America, Sweden, and India.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control Theory, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain control algorithms for FACTS applications.
