Job summary

ABB seeks a Factory Project Controller to lead medium-size electrical switchgear projects in Houston, TX. You will steer the order-to-delivery process, coordinate a cross-functional team, and ensure compliance with ABB standards and contracts.

The role requires an engineering degree and 5+ years in Electrification or Project Management, with SAP and MS Office proficiency. Travel ~5%, hybrid work model, and collaboration across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Electrification, Manufacturing or Project Management.
• Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and SAP is required.
• Ability to travel ~5% and work in a hybrid role in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the proposal team to review orders from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Manage the entire order-cycle including scheduling, drawings, shop execution, and shipping.
• Monitor project financials, invoicing, costs, and cash flow.
• Identify and manage risks and resolve disputes related to invoicing or changes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve project success and customer satisfaction.
