Job summary

Kraft Heinz's Muscatine Factory is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to transform the site into the factory of the future by developing and executing a strategic Capex plan that drives automation, food safety compliance, risk management, and cost optimization.

You will lead cross-functional teams across finance, maintenance, operations, and supply chain, establish a robust risk framework, and monitor performance with advanced metrics to ensure execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in plant engineering and project management in manufacturing.
• 5 years of full cycle capital project management.
• Experience with process and high-speed automation equipment.
• Experience managing long-term capital project plans.
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, EPA regulations.
• Understanding boiler and compressed air operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site transformation with strategic Capex planning and automation integration.
• Provide cross-functional leadership across finance, maintenance, operations, and supply chain.
• Establish a robust risk management framework for capital investments.
• Oversee budgeting for capital, maintenance, and utilities; reduce costs.
• Implement performance monitoring for project execution and operations.
