Job summary

Kraft Heinz’s Muscatine Factory seeks a Project Engineer to lead cross-functional engineering projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and strong technical execution across design, testing, and process improvement. You will coordinate with various teams to implement cost-saving and quality-enhancing solutions.

The role emphasizes applying engineering know-how to equipment design, capital appropriation, and process optimization, with a focus on healthy collaboration, and adherence to TQM

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school or related field is Strongly Preferred
• 3+ years of experience or full cycle Project Engineering experience.
• Strong background in mechanical and hydraulic systems, packaging methods, and materials, electronics and computer applications, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate engineering projects to complete on time and within budget.
• Design, develop, and improve internal processes and equipment.
• Provide technical support to factories to minimize production and maintenance problems.
• Apply engineering expertise to equipment design, problems solving, and quality improvement.
• Cost reduction and production improvement through projects.
