Job summary

RTX, based in Andover, MA, is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer – Factory Intelligence to build data-driven tools that help our engineering and factory teams understand how products are built and tested.

As a member of the FAST team, you will turn complex manufacturing and test data into insights, support investigations, improve yields, and enable faster, better decisions across production environments.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python/Java/C#/JavaScript/TypeScript/C).
• Experience building, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
• Ability to collaborate to solve technical problems and deliver software solutions.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications that explore factory and test data.
• Develop data visualization and analytical tools for manufacturing data.
• Transform and analyze data from engineering and test systems using Python and other languages.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and factory personnel to translate problems into software solutions.
