Amkor Technology, Inc. in Arizona is hiring a Factory Plant Senior Accounting Manager to oversee plant-level accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls at the Peoria facility.

This role partners with operations, engineering, and supply chain to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial performance visibility. This position will report to the Controller and will be based at the Tempe corporate office for training with eventual transition to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong background in cost accounting and inventory accounting.
• Demonstrate strong US GAAP technical accounting and internal controls knowledge.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; semiconductor or high-tech preferred.
• Public company and SOX compliance experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel required.

Responsabilités

• Review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement analytics and fluctuation explanations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for the factory.
• Coordinate with corporate accounting on consolidation, technical accounting, and external reporting requirements.
• Oversee standard costing, cost rollups, and variance analysis.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and drive cost improvements with operations.
• Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and CapEx planning.
• Maintain SOX controls and support audits; lead ad-hoc analyses as needed.
