Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Manager to support a high-tech manufacturing operation with responsibilities in plant accounting, inventory control, cost accounting, CapEx, and financial reporting. The role partners with operations, engineering, supply chain, and plant leadership to drive cost visibility and performance.

• CPA, CMA, or CFA designation and/or a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.

Job Description

An Insight Global customer is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager to support their Manufacturing Operation. The Senior Accounting Manager will support the financial and accounting operations of a high-tech manufacturing organization, with responsibility for plant accounting, inventory management, cost accounting, capital expenditures, financial analysis, and financial reporting. This individual will partner closely with manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain, and plant leadership to provide visibility into financial performance, analyze cost and operational drivers, and ensure accurate accounting for inventory, manufacturing costs, and capital investments. The role will initially operate as an individual contributor with the opportunity to take on greater leadership responsibility as the Arizona operation grows, making this a strong fit for someone who is proactive, motivated to learn, and comfortable helping build and improve processes in a growing manufacturing environment.

Additional Details:- Initial 60–90 day training and mentoring period, including time with Corporate Accounting in Tempe location.- Then the transition to the company office off the I17 and Dunlap before ultimately moving permanently to the Peoria manufacturing site, currently planned for Spring 2028- Following training, schedule is expected to be 4 days in office / 1 day remote- Expected to travel to Korea for several weeks within the first six monthsPosition begins as an individual contributor and is expected to develop into a people-leadership role as manufacturing operations scale

Skills and Requirements

CPA, CMA, or CFA designation and/or a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally with a well-rounded background across plant accounting, cost accounting, inventory, and financial analysisExperience with SAP, Oracle, or another large manufacturing ERP, along with advanced Excel skillsStrong manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory management/valuation, WIP, finished goods, standard costing, and manufacturing variance analysisExperience with CapEx and fixed assets, including supporting capital planning, tracking expenditures, and accounting for manufacturing investmentsStrong financial analysis and operational finance skills, with the ability to analyze financial and manufacturing data and partner with operations on business decisionsStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX/internal controls, and public-company accounting environmentsProven leadership, ownership, and communication skills, with a proactive mentality and the ability to eventually mentor and lead an accounting teamExperience within semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or another complex manufacturing environment
