U-Haul International, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Facility Technician with a strong background in electrical motors, controllers, and electrical troubleshooting to maintain and repair building systems.

You will perform HVAC and evaporative cooler maintenance, plumbing repairs, drywall finishing, and interior/exterior painting, while working independently with minimal supervision. The role offers safety-focused, hands-on work and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to weld is a plus and electrical troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and evaporative coolers.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, drains and water lines.
• Repair, patch, texture, and finish drywall surfaces as needed.
• Perform interior and exterior painting to maintain building appearance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work accurately.
