Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Dayton, KY is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair our resort-style fitness equipment. No experience is required as training is provided on the job, with a focus on safety and preventative maintenance to keep facilities running smoothly.

You will coordinate repairs with club management, update purchase orders, and assist with budgeting. A High School Diploma or GED and CPR/AED within 30 days are required, with less than one year of related experience.

• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building tasks
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget.
