Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment within our resort-style environment. You’ll be trained on the job, ensuring safety and performing preventative maintenance.

A key part is coordinating with club management to schedule repairs and enhancements. No prior experience is required; high school diploma or GED is sufficient, with CPR/AED certification due within 30 days of hire.

• On-the-job training provided for all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fitness equipment on the sales floor operates safely.
• Keep records of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintain electrical components, audio/video systems, and basic plumbing.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment functioning.
• Update purchase orders and parts orders; coordinate delivery timelines.
• Assist Department Head with budget management.

Position Summary

Our Fitness Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing fitness equipment within our resort-style environment. They ensure safety within the club by promptly repairing non-functional equipment and conducting preventative maintenance on all equipment. They also coordinate and communicate general repairs and facility maintenance with club management. Play a critical role in providing uncompromising quality to members that empower everyone to live a healthy, happy life. Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building tasks
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Less than 1 year of experience in a related field
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $25.50 and pays up to $34.25, based on experience and qualifications.
