Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment across our resort‑style club. No prior experience is required; you’ll be trained on the job, with safety and preventative maintenance at the core of every task.

You’ll document repairs, handle basic electrical, audio/video, plumbing tasks, and assist with budget‑related purchases, while coordinating with club management to keep our facilities running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely.
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building tasks.
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working.
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery.
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget.
