Job summary

Life Time in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment within our resort-style environment. No experience is necessary as training is provided on the job; you will help ensure club safety by promptly repairing non-functional equipment and performing preventative maintenance.

You will coordinate general repairs, communicate with club management, and contribute to an uncompromising quality experience for members seeking a healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 1 year of related field experience.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely.
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building tasks.
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working.
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery.
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget.
