Job description

Regular-Full time

This is a non-union position.

Are you a hands-on facilities leader who thrives on solving complex building challenges and leading teams to deliver safe, reliable operations? As our Utah Facilities Team Lead, you'll provide technical and operational leadership across Enbridge's Utah workplace facilities portfolio, overseeing critical building systems, maintenance programs, facility projects, and contractor performance. You'll play a key role in strengthening asset reliability, driving continuous improvement, and creating safe, efficient workplaces that support our people and business.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide advanced technical leadership and subject matter expertise across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation, energy management, indoor air quality, emergency power, and life safety systems, ensuring safe, reliable, efficient operations and serving as the primary escalation point for complex facility issues.
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, system optimization, commissioning/recommissioning, testing, balancing, and performance monitoring, implementing corrective actions that improve asset reliability, equipment life, occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and asset reliability programs, using CMMS/work management systems, equipment performance data, critical spare parts inventories, and contingency planning to reduce downtime and support long-term asset lifecycle management.
  • Lead the daily activities and development of Facilities Coordinators and the Facilities Project Manager, establishing work plans, prioritizing work orders and competing operational demands, ensuring adequate staffing and after-hours coverage, and fostering accountability, safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide oversight of maintenance capital and facility improvement projects, ensuring scope, technical specifications, budgets, schedules, risks, safety, quality, commissioning, closeout documentation, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed while identifying future capital priorities based on asset condition, reliability, compliance, and business needs.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, engineering consultants, and service providers, including performance, service level agreements, work plans, technical recommendations, procurement support, contract requirements, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion a strong health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance culture, ensuring adherence to applicable codes, corporate standards, safe work practices, permit-to-work requirements, inspections, certifications, testing, reporting, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, workplace services teams, occupants, vendors, and external partners, acting as a key operational contact for building issues and service interruptions while clearly communicating facility risks, operational updates, and project impacts to support employee experience and business continuity.
