Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team addressing the great security challenges facing our nation. This is a multidiscipline security position supporting the Dayton office. The role involves interfacing with personnel, including leadership and government contacts, to ensure contract security compliance with relevant regulations. It is a management position.
Principle Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of the security program for the Dayton, Ohio office, ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, SCI, SAP, and customer requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for DCSA reviews and correspondence.
- Manage security for classified programs, studies, and pursuits.
- Coordinate all new hire in-processing, badging, security briefings, and training.
- Participate in security audits, self-inspections, and assessments.
- Support visitor and security protocols for external/internal engagements.
- Assist with physical security measures and access control systems.
- Coordinate with management, program managers, contracts, IT, HR, and government contacts.
- Support prime/subcontractor security, including DD form 254 development.
- Investigate security incidents and administrative inquiries.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and practices.
- Manage and assist in the accreditation of classified facilities.
- Maintain the facility’s NISS account and ensure timely execution of security matters.
- Administer the DISS system.
- Implement the Insider Threat Program.
- Manage document control processes per regulations.
- Ensure security requirements are proactively managed to minimize disruptions.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Serve as a member of the security alarm response team.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 3 years of relevant security experience, or 8 years of relevant experience.
- FSO Program Management certification for Possessing Facilities.
- Experience managing security for sensitive programs, including DoD.
- Experience with security systems like DISS, NBIS, NISS.
- Knowledge of DoD security directives and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Qualifications
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
- Experience in certifying new facilities.
- Experience managing security for SCI/SAP programs.
- Knowledge of access control and alarm systems.
