Join to apply for the Facility Security Officer (FSO) role at Radiance Technologies.

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team addressing the great security challenges facing our nation. This is a multidiscipline security position supporting the Dayton office. The role involves interfacing with personnel, including leadership and government contacts, to ensure contract security compliance with relevant regulations. It is a management position.

Principle Responsibilities
  1. Oversight and management of the security program for the Dayton, Ohio office, ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, SCI, SAP, and customer requirements.
  2. Serve as the primary contact for DCSA reviews and correspondence.
  3. Manage security for classified programs, studies, and pursuits.
  4. Coordinate all new hire in-processing, badging, security briefings, and training.
  5. Participate in security audits, self-inspections, and assessments.
  6. Support visitor and security protocols for external/internal engagements.
  7. Assist with physical security measures and access control systems.
  8. Coordinate with management, program managers, contracts, IT, HR, and government contacts.
  9. Support prime/subcontractor security, including DD form 254 development.
  10. Investigate security incidents and administrative inquiries.
  11. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and practices.
  12. Manage and assist in the accreditation of classified facilities.
  13. Maintain the facility’s NISS account and ensure timely execution of security matters.
  14. Administer the DISS system.
  15. Implement the Insider Threat Program.
  16. Manage document control processes per regulations.
  17. Ensure security requirements are proactively managed to minimize disruptions.
  18. Provide administrative support as needed.
  19. Serve as a member of the security alarm response team.
Required Skills
  1. Attention to detail and high motivation.

  3. Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  4. Excellent judgment, integrity, decision-making, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Experience working and leading teams.
  7. Current Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and SAP access.
Required Experience
  1. Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 3 years of relevant security experience, or 8 years of relevant experience.
  2. FSO Program Management certification for Possessing Facilities.
  3. Experience managing security for sensitive programs, including DoD.
  4. Experience with security systems like DISS, NBIS, NISS.
  5. Knowledge of DoD security directives and regulations.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Qualifications
  1. Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
  2. Experience in certifying new facilities.
  3. Experience managing security for SCI/SAP programs.
  4. Knowledge of access control and alarm systems.
