Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team addressing the great security challenges facing our nation. This is a multidiscipline security position supporting the Dayton office. This position will interface with all Radiance Technologies personnel, including executive leadership, senior management and government personnel to ensure contract security compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07, and DoDM 5105.21. This is a management position.
Principle Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of the Radiance security program for the Dayton, Ohio office supporting all activities and responsibilities in 32 CFR Part 117, SCI, SAP and customer compliance
- Serves as the primary contact for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) reviews and correspondence
- Provides program security management of classified programs, studies, and pursuits
- Directs all new hire in-processing, badging, security briefings, security education and training
- Actively participates in Government security audits and annual security self-inspections and support DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments or Continuous Monitoring Engagements.
- Support visitor and security protocol for external and internal engagements, symposiums, trade shows and travel of the team
- Assist the Corporate Physical Security Manager with access control systems and physical security measures for the Dayton facility.
- Coordinates and interacts with local and corporate Radiance management, Program Managers, contracts, IT, Human Resources, cleared personnel, and government contacts
- Provides prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD form 254's and security guidance
- Investigates security incidents and complete administrative inquiries as required
- Develops and maintains the site's Standard Practice and Procedures (SPP), office security policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with Government security requirements
- Manage and assist in the accreditation of classified facilities
- Maintains the facility's National Industrial Security System (NISS) account, ensuring all cleared FCL matters are executed and recorded in a timely fashion (e.g., FCL; Change in Key Management Personnel (KMP))
- Administers the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Responsible for implementing the Insider Threat Program at the local facility
- Manages the document control accountability process in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117, DoD, and other applicable regulations and directives which govern receiving, inventory, safeguarding, marking, transportation and destruction of classified information.
- Proactively manages the team's security requirements ensuring a seamless progress and minimizes interruption
- Provide administrative and office management support as required
- Serves as a member of the security alarm response team

- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must have a current Top Secret clearance at time of selection. Must be able to obtain SCI and SAP eligibility for access to classified information.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant government or DoD security experience or 8 years of relevant government or DoD security experience
- "FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities" Certificate
- Experience with managing security requirements for sensitive security programs, including DoD
- Experience with DoD security systems or databases, including DISS, NBIS, and NISS
- Expertise in the 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, DoDM 520.07, DoDM 5105.21 and other DoD Security Directives
- Experience with Microsoft Office software applications
Desired Qualifications
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
- Previous experience in certifying new facilities
- 1-2 years of experience with managing security for SCI and/or SAP programs
- Knowledge of access control and alarm maintenance
