Job summary

Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio is seeking a Full-Time Facilities Supervisor to lead safety training, audits, and PPE compliance across the operations team. You will manage preventive maintenance for fleet and facility equipment, oversee cleaning, pest control, and food safety standards, and supervise volunteers for grounds work.

The role supports HVAC and refrigeration systems, maintains temperature logs, and coordinates offsite storage and vendor services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in facility maintenance or related field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience in warehouse or food storage environments preferred.
• Experience coordinating vendors and training staff is a plus.
• Forklift and stand-up lift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety training and audits and ensure PPE compliance.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on fleet and facility equipment.
• Oversee cleaning, pest control and food safety standards.
• Supervise volunteers and coordinate grounds maintenance.
• Maintain HVAC, refrigeration systems and temperature logs.
• Support offsite storage operations and transportation coordination.
