Job summary

FS Residential in Boca Raton, FL is hiring a full-time Porter responsible for cleaning projects across indoor and outdoor spaces. You will inspect work, submit reports, and operate diverse cleaning tasks with safety and professionalism. This role may involve varied environments and requires dependable, organized effort and adherence to schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cleansing and maintenance tasks as assigned (sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, light bulb replacement, window cleaning).
• Inform Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintain cleaning solutions per OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemicals.
• Remove trash and assist in emergency cleaning.
• Use new equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Maintain friendly and professional attitude.
• Maintain sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspect areas daily and report issues to Supervisor.
• Ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain relationships with building staff.
• Finish and burnish floors as required.
• Complete daily work orders as scheduled.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Clean restrooms as applicable and replenish dispensers.
