Job summary

YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a Building/Facility Supervisor to act as Manager on Duty at the Lafayette YMCA, CO. You will oversee daily facility operations, ensure cleanliness and safety, and supervise volunteers and staff.

The role includes ice rink and pool maintenance, emergency response, and coordination with contractors. CPR/First Aid is required, and a valid driver’s license is needed to support local travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant trainings or certifications.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Basic maintenance skills for facility operations.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Manager on Duty tasks, ensure cleanliness and risk management.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure member safety.
• Ensure adequate equipment for programs and activities.
• Supervise staff and volunteers during shifts.
• Maintain ice rink including resurfacer operation and checks.
• Perform pool safety and maintenance checks; CPR/First Aid within 30 days if not current.
• Assist in various departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Keep a log of projects, maintenance needs and tasks.
