Job summary

Scoular seeks a Superintendent to oversee daily facility operations, ensure employee safety, and direct non-exempt labor. The role also involves assisting with recruitment and training, performing operational duties, and helping grow the business.

You will coordinate transportation and maintenance to ensure on-time deliveries, manage product quality and inventories, and supervise staff with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Results driven.
• Ability to independently solve problems.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Have peripheral vision and corrected vision to 20/20 in both eyes.
• Good hearing to hear bells, alarms and telephonic equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of a Scoular facility.
• Ensure safety of location employees and direct non-exempt laborers.
• Assist with recruitment and training of employees.
• Perform operational duties and support growth of the business.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage product quality, quantity, and inventories; inbound/outbound flow.
• Ensure equipment is functional, safe, and in good repair.
• Provide impeccable service to customers.
• Direct vendors and customers in daily processes of the property.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and contribute ideas.
• Lead safety initiatives and meet regulatory requirements.
• Schedule laborers to meet work demands and assist with recruitment.
