Job summary

Scoular seeks a Superintendent to oversee daily facility operations, ensure safety, and direct laborers while driving efficiency. You will partner with managers to coordinate transportation and maintenance, manage product quality and inventories, and ensure on-time deliveries.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, lead safety initiatives, and ensure environmental compliance. Collaborative leadership across divisions will be key to growing the business and delivering impeccable service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Results driven and goal oriented.
• Ability to independently solve problems.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Peripheral and 20/20 corrected vision in both eyes.
• Good hearing for alarms and telephonic equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the facility and ensure employee safety.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance for on-time deliveries.
• Manage product quality, quantity and inventories, inbound/outbound flow.
• Direct vendors and customers in daily facility processes.
• Provide direction for recruitment and training of staff.
• Lead safety meetings, trainings and location inspections.
• Ensure environmental compliance and safe operation of equipment.
• Engage teams through inclusive leadership and cross-divisional collaboration.
