Job summary

The South Dakota Developmental Center seeks an experienced Facility Operations Manager to oversee the safe, economical operation of the campus. You will manage regulated environments, ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, NEC, ADA, and related regulations, and lead a supervisory maintenance team.

Strong knowledge of facility infrastructure, HVAC, electrical systems, and technology platforms (BMS, CMMS) is required, with emphasis on audits, safety, and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience supervising building maintenance or construction.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code, NEC, ADA standards.
• Strong computer skills and facility management systems experience.
