Job summary

Volunteers of America-Texas in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Facilities Operations role to oversee building maintenance and safety programs. You’ll manage schedules, supervise staff, and coordinate with vendors to ensure reliable service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, plus two years in a supervisory role.
• Alternatively, at least five years of facility maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HazCom Notebook and Life/Safety Compliance Book.
• Schedule monthly fire drills and maintain fire inspection.
• Oversee upkeep and preventative maintenance of the building and agency vehicles.
• Supervise maintenance, health/safety sanitation, transportation, and food service.
• Monitor procurement and inventory of supplies.
• Direct supervision of facility services staff and vendors.
• Manage resources within budget and perform on-call duties.
