Job summary

The City of Murfreesboro is hiring a Facility Attendant Lead to assist in leading the operation of parks and facilities such as gymnasiums, fields, wellness areas, and airport facilities. You will greet customers, provide information, enforce safety rules, and supervise staff to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities include facility maintenance, basic repairs, scheduling, record-keeping, and using management software.

Qualifications

Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English.
Three months experience in a facility attendant or related role.
CPR/AED certifications required or obtainable within 3 months from hire date.

Responsibilities

Assist in leading operation of park or facility.
Greet customers and provide information on activities.
Oversee and monitor assigned facility for safety and welfare.
Enforce rules and regulations; address participant complaints.
Maintain cleanliness and order of the facility.
Perform basic repair and coordinate with contractors.
Operate facility management software; process admissions and cash handling.
Manage reservations and schedules; maintain records and inventories.
Open/close facility and ensure security.
Provide guidance and instruction to staff; flexible with weekend/evening/holiday work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
