Job summary

City of Murfreesboro is seeking a dedicated Facility Attendant to support daily operations at city parks and facilities. You will greet visitors, monitor areas, handle registrations, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires clear English communication, the ability to stand and walk, and basic cash handling. CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain within three months is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English.
• Experience in customer service and handling cash is preferred.
• Prior experience in a facility attendant or related role is a plus.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist in their needs.
• Monitor attendance in gym, lobby, game room, weight room, track, aerobics area, and pool.
• Process admissions, registrations, and sales transactions.
• Maintain records of inventory, registrations, and accidents.
• Enforce facility rules and respond to emergencies (CPR/AED).
• Perform general cleaning and equipment distribution to patrons.
