Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Assist in directing nursing staff to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, maintain and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Ensure compliance with policies; report to DON/administration as needed.
• Participate in committee meetings and quality assurance activities.
• Plan, implement, and monitor the resident discharge plans.
• Greet and admit residents; monitor and respond to changes in condition.
