Job summary

Ohio Living seeks an RN/LPN Nursing Supervisor to lead nursing staff and oversee admissions on assigned shifts in our Ohio facilities. This role ensures high-quality care in compliance with state and federal standards.

The position requires a nursing degree, Ohio license, and prior supervision experience, with strong teamwork across departments to coordinate resident care, manage staffing, and support families and staff during daily operations.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college, university or vocational school.
• Current unencumbered Ohio RN or LPN license.
• Minimum one year of supervisor experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or similar.
• Minimum one year as a nurse in a hospital or long-term care setting.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office; EMR experience preferred.
• Must read, write, speak English.

Responsibilities

• Staffing confirmation at the start of each shift and mid-shift rounds with Charge Nurses.
• Maintain floor presence and assist families; coordinate with care teams.
• Coordinate resident/patient care with Culinary, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Therapy, Activities and Social Services.
• Provide support as Charge Nurse and assist Admissions Nurses.
• Attend all-employee and departmental meetings and training.
• Ensure readiness for surveys and maintain documentation for quality metrics.
