Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks a Facility Manager to create a safe, efficient work environment for a 2-bay maintenance shop on-site, aiming for solid service quality and regulatory compliance while achieving a target profit margin and supporting 24/7 operations.

The role leads safety programs, audits, and staff management; coordinates maintenance, and contributes to capital planning. Strong communication and experience in chemical manufacturing or related fields are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing P&L or P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and environmentally compliant practices by following SOPs.
• Provide training for facility staff and assign daily tasks during shifts.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and quarterly safety audits; hold monthly safety meetings.
• Oversee building, grounds, and equipment maintenance with lead personnel and approvals.
• Contribute input on annual capital expenditure projects for the facility.
• Maintain regulatory compliance reporting with federal/state/local authorities.
• Maintain waste logs and coordinate waste shipments off-site.
• Hire, discipline, reward, and terminate staff per policy.
• Assist in sales efforts to increase revenues while controlling costs.
