Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a Facility Manager to lead and optimize our Linden facility, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations. You will drive cost control while maintaining high service quality in a complex chemical/tank environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in management, P&L experience, and a strong background in safety and customer-facing roles. This role focuses on building a safe, compliant workplace and leveraging operational improvements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of P&L management experience.
• 3 years of management experience.
• Experience managing a team in chemical manufacturing, transportation, or similar industry.
• Has had responsibility for safety performance and EHS compliance.
• Has experience in a customer facing / customer service role.
• Has worked in a harsher environment (temperature, industrial, outdoor).
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude; comfortable with various computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and environmentally correct practices and procedures by adhering to all Company SOPs.
• Provide training for all tank technicians and office personnel at the facility; oversee daily tasks during shifts.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and quarterly safety audits; organize monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain building, grounds, and equipment; arrange maintenance and obtain quotes/approvals.
• Provide input on annual capital expenditure projects for the facility.
• Maintain regulatory compliance reporting per federal/state agencies or municipalities.
• Maintain waste logs and prepare drums for and complete off-site waste shipments.
• Hire, discipline, reward, and terminate employees per corporate policy.
• Assist in sales efforts to increase revenues by seeking new revenue opportunities and controlling costs.
• Other duties as assigned.
