Job summary

Depot Connect International, a global leader in Tank/ISO Tank Container Services, is seeking a Facility Manager in Midland, MI to oversee daily operations, safety, and regulatory compliance at the facility. You will manage personnel, ensure environmental and safety standards, and drive efficiency to maintain a profitable operation.

The role requires at least 2 years of P&L management, strong leadership, and experience in chemical manufacturing or related industries.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience managing P&L.
• Experience leading a team in a manufacturing, chemical, or related environment.
• Strong safety, EHS awareness, and regulatory compliance.
• Customer-facing experience and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage maintenance and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and environmentally compliant practices and procedures.
• Provide training for facility staff and shift personnel.
• Conduct regular safety audits and monthly safety meetings.
• Oversee building, grounds, and equipment maintenance and budgeting.
• Contribute to capital expenditure planning for the facility.
• Ensure regulatory reporting to federal/state/local agencies.
• Manage waste streams and scheduling of waste shipments.
• Hire, discipline, reward, and terminate staff per policy.
• Support sales efforts through revenue optimization and cost control.
