Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking an on-site facilities operations leader to manage multiple properties within a designated region.

You will oversee emergency responses, work orders, and routine maintenance, ensuring safety and reliability while maintaining strong relationships with customers and external service providers. Responsibilities include portfolio audits, PM program oversight, and strategic planning to support capital projects, asset inventories, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities management.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, CMMS, Smartsheet, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Valid Driver’s License; FMP or CFM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work orders and emergency response; respond to emergencies within 4 hours and coordinate with vendors and EMCOR.
• Direct vendor relationships and budget considerations; ensure quotes are accurate and repair vs. replace decisions are fiscally sound.
• Cultivate customer and stakeholder relations; build trust and manage escalations with accountability.
• Conduct portfolio asset management and site assessments; manage PM programs and asset inventories for capital planning.
• Maintain organizational systems for emails, approvals, and quotes; align operations with corporate goals.

Job Summary

Assumes the overall responsibility for the management and daily operations of all properties within the designated region. Responsible for working with maintenance personnel to ensure duties are completed safely, effectively and within standard. Develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facility, personnel and processes. Manage and respond to emergency calls and oversee time-critical repairs. Plan and oversee execution of audits, routine maintenance and improvement projects for facility and equipment. Build and maintain quality relationships with key customer stakeholders, internal team members, and external partner service providers

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage Work Orders & Emergency Response: Oversee WO statuses and backlogs, respond to emergencies within 4 hours (including 24/7 on-call availability), and provide active communication between vendors, EMCOR, and LCG
• Direct Vendor & Financial Management: Oversee vendor relationships and scope, hold vendors financially accountable for quotes, and exercise fiscal responsibility in budget management and repair versus replace decisions
• Cultivate Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Build a Relationship of Trust (BRT) with stakeholders through regular contact, process transparency, and taking full ownership of escalations without passing the buck
• Conduct Portfolio Asset Management & Site Assessments: Execute thorough site assessments to gather high-quality data and photos, manage the preventive maintenance (PM) program, and maintain accurate asset inventory for capital planning
• Maintain Operational Organization & Strategic Planning: Utilize strict organizational systems for managing emails, approvals, and quotes, while viewing building operations holistically to align with organizational goals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities management
• Valid Driver’s License. FMP or CFM Preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including, but not limited to, safety policies, procedure manuals, and maintenance specifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
• Requires proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, CMMS, Smartsheet, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power BI
