Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services seeks a results-driven facilities manager to oversee operations of multiple properties within the designated region. You will supervise maintenance teams, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety, reliability, and timely response to emergencies.

This role emphasizes asset management, PM programs, and reporting, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while aligning activities with budget and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; combined education and experience acceptable.
• Minimum 2-3 years of facilities management experience.
• Valid driver's license; FMP or CFM preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write routine reports and correspondence, and present information clearly.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, CMMS, Smartsheet, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Work Orders and Emergency Response: manage WO statuses, respond to emergencies within 4 hours, 24/7 on-call availability, and coordinate with vendors, EMCOR, and LCG.
• Direct Vendor & Financial Management: oversee vendor relationships and scope, manage quotes, and exercise budget responsibility and repair vs. replace decisions.
• Cultivate Customer & Stakeholder Relations: build trust with stakeholders through regular contact, transparency, and effective escalation handling.
• Conduct Portfolio Asset Management & Site Assessments: perform site assessments, manage the PM program, and maintain asset inventory for capital planning.
• Maintain Operational Organization & Strategic Planning: organize emails, approvals, and quotes, aligning operations with organizational goals.

Job Summary

Assumes the overall responsibility for the management and daily operations of all properties within the designated region. Responsible for working with maintenance personnel to ensure duties are completed safely, effectively and within standard. Develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facility, personnel and processes. Manage and respond to emergency calls and oversee time-critical repairs. Plan and oversee execution of audits, routine maintenance and improvement projects for facility and equipment. Build and maintain quality relationships with key customer stakeholders, internal team members, and external partner service providers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage Work Orders & Emergency Response: Oversee WO statuses and backlogs, respond to emergencies within 4 hours (including 24/7 on-call availability), and provide active communication between vendors, EMCOR, and LCG
• Direct Vendor & Financial Management: Oversee vendor relationships and scope, hold vendors financially accountable for quotes, and exercise fiscal responsibility in budget management and repair versus replace decisions
• Cultivate Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Build a Relationship of Trust (BRT) with stakeholders through regular contact, process transparency, and taking full ownership of escalations without passing the buck
• Conduct Portfolio Asset Management & Site Assessments: Execute thorough site assessments to gather high-quality data and photos, manage the preventive maintenance (PM) program, and maintain accurate asset inventory for capital planning
• Maintain Operational Organization & Strategic Planning: Utilize strict organizational systems for managing emails, approvals, and quotes, while viewing building operations holistically to align with organizational goals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facilities management
• Valid Driver’s License. FMP or CFM Preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including, but not limited to, safety policies, procedure manuals, and maintenance specifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations
• Requires proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, CMMS, Smartsheet, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power BI
