Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain a safe, functional, and therapeutic environment, combining technical skills with a focus on safety and quality in healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facility Maintenance

• Perform repairs and maintenance such as sheetrock repair, painting, light fixture maintenance, ceiling tile upkeep, carpet cleaning, and playground safety checks.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.

Systems Management

• Conduct HVAC audits, electrical inspections, maintain logs, troubleshoot mechanical equipment, and monitor building systems.

Grounds Management

• Maintain exterior safety, parking lots, snow removal, lawn care, and playground inspections.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety protocols, keep work areas organized, store tools properly, report concerns, and adhere to healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of commercial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Minimum age of 21
• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• HVAC certification
• Experience in healthcare maintenance
• Knowledge of building codes and electrical systems

Additional Details

Starting salary: $15/hr. This is a part-time, in-person role in a fast-paced healthcare environment. On-call rotation and outdoor work may be required. Physical stamina and ability to work in varying temperatures are essential.
