Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking a Building Maintenance candidate in Woodridge, IL to support facility operations through hands-on maintenance and coordination with external contractors. The role ensures safety and operational standards are met across the site.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of facility maintenance experience, and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building or facility maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.
• Experience working with outside vendors or contractors.
• Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance activities and reviewing schedules.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of building maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Coordinate and assist with on-site work performed by external contractors and service providers.
• Review and verify that contracted work is completed according to scope, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and vendor activity.
• Support preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend facility lifespan.
• Assist with office or production area setup, equipment moves, and furniture installations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and assist with janitorial or grounds support as needed.
• Track and restock building maintenance supplies and tools.
• Communicate with team members, vendors, and leadership effectively to ensure timely issue resolution.
