Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform custodial, groundskeeping, and basic maintenance tasks to keep the facility, grounds and equipment safe and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include cleaning, floor care, minor repairs, snow removal, and operating hand and power tools safely; experience in a health care setting is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a health care setting.
• Building and grounds maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Perform floor care, including cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance, interior and exterior repairs.
• Operate hand and power tools and use maintenance equipment safely.
• Assist with snow removal and lawn care.
