Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio Careers is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment at various Archdiocesan facilities, including minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting, with some janitorial duties.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least two years’ experience in building maintenance, plus ability to communicate with staff at all levels and to coordinate with external contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate with various levels of staff.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and vendors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment, including minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting.
• Completes janitorial duties as assigned and assists with after-hours maintenance and emergencies.
• Coordinates with external teams and staff for care of facilities and vendors.
• Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies and reports on needs.
