Job summary

PACS is seeking a hands-on maintenance worker in the United States to maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, efficient manner, aligned with federal, state, and local standards and our policies.

Responsibilities include following maintenance schedules, coordinating with nursing services, reporting accidents, performing routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical areas, and safeguarding resident information and safety in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must possess a 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to report hazards.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for the assigned shift.
• Report accidents or incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate daily maintenance tasks with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and facilities.
• Assist with repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other areas as directed.
