Job summary

PACS in California is seeking a maintenance worker to uphold grounds, facilities, and equipment in a safe, compliant manner. You will follow schedules, coordinate with nursing services, and perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.

The role requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds, follow directions, and maintain confidentiality of resident information; no supervisory duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facilities, and equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
• Follow maintenance schedules and assist in routine upkeep across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical tasks.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Report accidents/incidents promptly to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and ensure proper handling of protected health information.
