Job summary

Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform general, mechanical, and preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Drivers license required.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Adjust thermostats, plumbing fixtures, and office furniture as needed.
• Perform PM checks and ensure safe, clean work areas.
• Support environmental services during daytime shifts.
• Receive and deliver supplies within the facility.
