Job summary

GEM Facility Management, part of the Rudolph Libbe Group, is seeking a Facility Maintenance MT2 to service the Northwest Ohio region. The role entails basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs under supervision, with strong communication and willingness to learn.

Based in Walbridge, OH, the position requires a high school diploma, 5 years of maintenance experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Travel to nearby facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of applicable maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years painting experience with wall surface repair/prep/paint.
• Two-year technical degree is equivalent to one year of experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from property manager/customer.
• Perform general building/property maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform general building inspections and safety checks.
• Support Property Manager as required.
• Follow processes and procedures precisely.
• Must be able to lift 35–50 lbs. and stand 8–10 hours daily.
• Travel to other facilities and vendors as required.
