Staffmark Group is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician in Alexandria, MN. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining boiler and facility systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1st class boiler's license, and 3+ years of maintenance experience, with knowledge of HVAC systems and high-pressure boiler systems. Night shift coverage is 6 PM–6 AM on rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate industrial boilers, utility systems, and facility equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical rooms, air handling systems, and production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Complete general facility maintenance and building repairs, including doors, walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components.
• Support development and maintenance of SOPs, equipment history records, and maintenance programs to improve equipment performance.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and operational standards and participate in after-hours emergency response.

Job Duties

• Monitor and operate industrial boilers, utility systems, and facility equipment in compliance with state regulations, maintaining continuous operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment through fixed or rotating shift coverage.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical rooms, air handling systems, and production equipment, performing equipment rounds and identifying maintenance or operational issues to minimize downtime and support facility reliability.
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on building systems, facility infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
• Complete general facility maintenance and building repairs, including doors, walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components, while maintaining an organized inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and parts.
• Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment history records, and maintenance programs, leveraging GMP and non-GMP documentation to improve equipment performance and reduce mechanical failures.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, quality assurance, regulatory, and operational standards, participate in after-hours emergency response as needed, accurately document maintenance activities, and perform additional duties assigned to support facility operations.
