Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to support our global life sciences facilities.

The role covers routine and non-routine maintenance, installations, updates, and repairs for storage environments and facility equipment, with responsibilities including setup of new equipment and occasional after-hours on-call duties. The technician will ensure clean facilities, accurate documentation, and safe operations, with periodic travel and LN2-related work while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanically inclined with experience maintaining industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly facility and storage environment maintenance.
• Assist with annual facility and storage environment maintenance.
• Assist with install, removal, validation and calibration of essential operations equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and general appearance of the facility and storage environments.
• Diagnose and repair facility operation and storage environment issues, coordinating with 3rd party vendors when needed.
• Complete documentation, manage inventory counts and re-ordering of materials.
• Proactively communicate issues to relevant personnel.
